Joseph Ovwemuvwose is passionate about tackling the challenge of food insecurity in Africa. He believes that the vast resources in Africa could be harnessed to meet the need of every African and also help other parts of the world. He also researches the impact of climate change on food production and ways to improve the African food supply chain with a special focus on enabling smaller holder farmers to access inputs and weather data. This serves as a means of helping to improve the financial situation in countries with agriculture accounting for up to about 70% of the labour force. He works on digital skill development, consulting, and STEM mentoring for the next generation of Africans. He also seeks partnerships with other international key players in the global food supply chain for collaborations on projects with shared objectives.
